Do a little research before name calling. Walls do not stop illegal crossings. Tunneling and cutting through steel sections has been a problem. What does stop them is the natural border at this National Park- the least crossed section along the entire US Mexican border- including the already walled sections.
Locks don’t stop home invasions, but I bet you lock yours at night. Walls don’t prevent property theft but you might notice that wealthy people all have them AND gated communities . We protect politicians, money and celebrities using trained men with guns, but bet you send your children to school in Gun Free Zones. My research includes hiking all over Big Bend and a friend who is a game warden there. It also includes hiking the PCT which runs from the MEX border to Canada. Anyone determined can walk over anytime that suits them. Anyone determined can kick in your door. Anyone determined can climb a wall or go around a gate. It just makes it harder to do and easier to protect. Like forcing them to bring a torch. And enabling BP & ICE to respond. All you libs said it would have no effect and 18 months later we have net negative migration. Research reality.
